Review for Cagedbird Nail Lacquer Equinox

Today I have a lovely polish to show you from Cagedbird Nail Lacquer. Cagedbird nail lacquers are a variety of both handmade from scratch nail lacquers and custom blended nail lacquers using craft and cosmetic grade glitters with existing polishes. our handmade polishes are big 3-free and blended polishes use only big 3-free polishes. So let's get to it:

Here's the lovely bottle shot :) And above you can see the super cute labels! Love them.

Equinox has a slightly copper tinted base that is packed full of copper and gold mini flakes. So very pretty!

This is 2 coats with no undie. I didn't have any problems with this polish. The consistency was perfect. Dry time was great also.

You can also use it as a topper. This is one coat over black.

Here is one coat over white. I really like it this way, it makes the copper really stand out. On my pinkie there is only one coat of Equinox with no undie.

Cagedbird makes some other super pretty polishes and they are planning their largest restock yet for February. If you are interested in following them and getting in on that action you can find more information on their Facebook page and you can find also check out their etsy shop.

I hope you enjoyed this post and come back again soon to see what else I have lined up for you. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Review for Shenanigans Lacquers: Thumbs Up, Warrior Princess, and Santa's Swag

Hey everyone! Hope you are enjoying the posts and staying warm. It is seriously cold where I am! Today I have some seriously awesome polish from Shenanigans Lacquers.  I wanted to get this post up a lot sooner, but life had other ideas where that was concerned so I apologize to everyone that this one took so long to get posted. There is a Christmas polish in here, but since it was super cute and is my state's football colors I am showing you even though it's no longer Christmas time.

I will start off with Thumbs Up, which has a clear base with blue iridescent and holographic micro glitters jam packed in it.  This polish is part of the Angels and Warriors collection and $1.50 from the sale of each bottle will be donated to fund research pediatric cancer. So there's more reasons to buy this polish than just because it's so gorgeous, also, because it helps a good cause!

I have on one coat here over the teal undie. I didn't have any trouble with this polish. It went on like a dream. I didn't have to "fish" the glitters out or anything like that. The consistency was perfect. Not to thick and not to thin.

This is 2 coats of Thumbs Up with no undie. So as you can see you can go with an undie or commando :). I really love the colors in this polish, but then I'm kind of a sucker for blues!  It stayed on for a whole 4 days while I was working too! That is a major accomplishment for any polish, because I work as a CNA/MA and wash my hands about a hundred times a day!

Next up is Warrior Princess, which looks to have an iridescent blue base with purple and pink undertones and holographic powder in it.  This is also a part of the Angels and Warriors collection so $1.50 from the sale of each bottle of this polish goes to funding the research for pediatric cancer.

This is 3 coats of Warrior Princess with no base. I didn't have any issues with this polish at all. No dripping, no dragging, no issues at all. I really love the color of this polish!

Here is one coat of Warrior Princess over Color Club Pucc-a-licious. It really brings out the purple tones, and I'm sure it would look completely different over a light blue or a pink. But it still looks pretty stunning!

Last but definitely not least is Santa's Swag, which was one of their Christmas polishes, unfortunately I didn't get them until after Christmas thanks to all the other Christmas mail that was floating around out there. And I had planned to get it posted in the beginning of January right after I received them, but like it always does life got in the way, and my phone decided to take a crap (I use my cell phone for my camera). So now I am finally getting to show you this lovely polish which I will get to use for the rest of the year, because it happens to be the school colors for the University of Nebraska! Santa's Swag has a clear base with small clear iridescent glitter, mini white and gold glitters, and red micro glitters.

This is 2 coats with no undies.
I did not have any problems with this wonderful polish! I didn't have to "fish" the glitters out, the formula was perfect, not to thick and not to thin. And it is the perfect colors to support the University of Nebraska!

And here is one coat over Orly Nite Owl. It looks just as stunning with an undie as it does alone!

Thanks for checking out my post, I hope you enjoyed it and come back again soon to see what else I have in the works for you. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Next I have Splash Dream, which shifts from fuchsia/gold and I have it on over Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and Tangerine Fatal.

Last but not least from the Mermaid trio is Ever Blue, which shifts from blue/fuchsia and I have it on over Life Polish (no name, but a deep wine color) and L'Oreal Safari Chic.

Next is the Mythological trio, which consists of Dragon, Phoenix, and Unicorn. All of these are duochrome topcoats also.
First up is Dragon, which shifts orange/gold/green and I have this on over Life Polish and Tangerine Fatal.

Next for the Mythological trio is Phoenix, which shifts gold/red and I have this on over Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and L'Oreal Safari Chic.

Last but not least for this collection is Unicorn, which shifts from blue/green and I have it on over Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and  Tangerine Fatal.

Now I have for you Starlight, which is a wonderful holographic topcoat, I have it one over Life Polish and Sally Hansen Pacific Blue.
