Review on several different Top Coats :)

Okay well I am going to do a mass review on 5 different topcoats that have a slightly different effect and or color.  I will start with my index finger which is Mary-KateAndAshley in Fab.  This is an opaque blue with some holographic shimmers in it. I applied two coats for picture purposes.  It is alone with nothing under it, so you can see the color effect alone.  It went on well not streaky or runny.  Here's a picture:
Next I had Maybelline Colorama in Pink Pearl on my middle finger.  The name is exactly what it is. An almost whit looking color with pink and gold pearl effects.  It's very pretty, but very transparent.  I have two coats on in the picture for you.  It goes on very nicely though, it's not streaky or runny.
Then on my ring finger I had a very lovely Petites in Jewel.  This is a wonderful flaky that appears in yellow and orange with a opaque kind of base. It's really pretty and super sparkly.  It isn't runny or streaky and it goes on very nicely. This is probably my favorite.
Now on my pinky I had a very similar polish it's Petites in Peach Orchid.  This is another great flaky that appears in yellow, orange, and green.  It has a peach base and is lovely.  It's extremely sparkly and really flashes in the light.
And lastly on my thumb I put a Nailene peach based holographic micro shimmer. This is a super pretty color, but it's probably the worst smelling one in my collection. It also has the longest dry time. But the consistency is nice and it isn't streaky.  I got this in a French Manicure Set and it doesn't have a name.
These are all excellent polishes to use to change up your mani a little bit or to add a little something to a drab color.  I also use these in to aide in the mixing of my frankens :)

I hope you enjoyed this post and you come back for more.  Sorry again about the picture quality but I am working with what I have.  Have a wonderful day and wear your brightest smile! :)

Perfectly Posh's Chunk Soap in Gender Bender!

Well now I will be doing a nice review for you all on Perfectly Posh's Chunk Soap in Gender Bender. A very nice Independent Perfectly Posh Consultant sent me some wonderful things to try out and review for her. Below is a picture of the little hunk of Gender Bender that I received.  First I will give you the information that the company gives and then I will let you know what I think.

Chunk: Big Bath Bar
Big, fat luxury to get your hands around. Chunk Bath Bars are a fragrant, lathering, sanctuary for your skin. Creamy butters, and moisturizing ingredients combine with rare and intricate fragrances. You'll have to hold on with both hands when you climb in and experience a Chunk from Perfectly Posh.
Made with an organic soap base: sodium palmate.  Big, long lasting, lathering luxury.  SLS-free, Phthalate-free fragrance.
Gender Bender:
Because truly clean doesn't discriminate, the Gender Bender invites all to wash and be cleaned and Posh. A crisp fragrance for all and made with activated charcoal powder, silt, and carbon to absorb over 1000X their own weight in pollution and free-radicals that offend while natural shea butter calms, soothes and enriches skin.

7oz CHUNK bath bars: $9

All right now onto the good stuff! I received Gender Bender along with some other awesome goodies from an Independent Perfectly Posh Consultant to review and let everyone know what I think of this!  I love this product!
It has a nice crisp clean sent that is not overpowering, and that is great for men or women. It has a nice smooth texture and it really does lather up very well.  Gender Bender lathers up just as well, if not better than, your average gel soap, which is GREAT! Because really who wants a soap with no lather, sure not me! It leaves the skin feeling clean and wonderful. Unlike a lot of products that I have used this does NOT leave me feeling dry and itchy.  We have really hard water so normally when I get out of a shower or bath I have to lather on the lotion. With the Gender Bender I don't need any lotion at all, I don't feel itchy or dry, I feel clean and refreshed and moisturized already.
I had read somewhere that this is an all-over soap, so I put that to the test just to see what the results were.  I used it to wash my body of course and I loved it. Second, I used it to wash my face instead of using my normal face wash.  Gender Bender has worked wonders for my face! My normal face wash leaves my face really dried out and a little flaky even, but it was the only thing I could find that would stop the breakouts.  Well move aside and make some room, because Gender Bender has won me over! I have been using that little hunk of soap in the picture above for about a week now to wash my body and my face and I have not had any breakouts, no dryness, nothing! Just normal skin for once.  I am in love with Gender Bender!  The Gender Bender has given me a whole new outlook for my face.  So like I said before I read that it was for all over wash.  Well all over includes your hair, right?  Yes, yes it does.  I tried Gender Bender out on my hair, and it worked fairly well, now keep in mind that it was not really formulated for hair.  For me I say it worked fairly well, because I have super thin and fine hair, so when I use Gender Bender to wash my hair the moisturizers in it, of course, stick to the hair, well this wouldn't probably be a problem for someone with normal hair. But for me it kind of weighs down my hair.  I will say that it did make my hair feel super clean and very shiny. It's just a little bit to heavy.  Which really stinks, because I'd love to be able to use one product for everything!
So my overall thoughts on this are that it is a wonderfully formulated product and I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.  As a matter of fact I have already been recommending it!

As always thank you for reading my post and I really hope you enjoyed it and will come back for more!  Hope you have a wonderful day :)

Review of Avon's Summer Dusk

Here I have Avon's Summer Dusk up for a review.  This is a very russet orange color that is very frosted.  This is a very good evening or fall color I think.  It is fairly opaque with one coat but I did two just in case.  This one is a little runnier than most of my other Avon colors though, I'm not to impressed with that part.  It dries semi fast, it does take a little longer than some of the others.  Altogether this is a very fun color though. Here are some pictures:

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my posts I appreciate each view that I get :).  Please come back again.  Have a great day and smile it might irritate someone else that you are having a wonderful day ;)

Sinful Colors: Dream On Review

Alright well here we have a review of Sinful Color in Dream On.  This color has a great matte finish.  Or of course if you don't want to keep the matte look you can add some glitter or just a clear topcoat.  This is a pretty opaque color, since it is matte it does go on a little streaky so 2 coats are necessary.  It's a wonderful deep fuchsia cream. It's a fairly thick consistency which helps sort of even out the layers.  this is currently my favorite matte color, but then I only have 3 so I don't have much to go off of! Well here are some pictures, which I think make it look more pink than it really is just so you are aware.

There is clear polish over my ring finger to show the difference.
As usual thank you for stopping by my blog and checking out my post.  Hope you check out some others also!  And come back again and again ;) Have a wonderful day and wear your smile!

Sinful Colors: Let's Talk

Here's a review on Sinful Colors in Let's Talk.  This is a very deep purple that has purple and red micro shimmers in it.  It looks great in the bottle and on the nails. The first coat is a little bit transparent and a tad streaky, but as it dries it generally evens out.  After the second coat you have a nice even color that is completely opaque. It has a great consistency.  The red shimmers that are in it really give it the extra something that I am always looking for in nail colors.  I really enjoy wearing this color especially when it is sunny and the red catches the light.  Wonderful color as with most of the Sinful Colors that I have.
If you are looking for a deep purple that is affordable but long lasting this is your color right here. Here are some pictures (slightly crappy but the best I can do with my picture phone).

Thank you for viewing my posts. Please check out some others and let me know what you think, I love to hear your opinions.  And as Always have a wonderful day and wear that smile proudly!

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtremewear: Twisted Pink

Alright well here we are again.  Today I am reviewing Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtremewear in Twisted Pink.  This is a bright pink with what I would describe as yellow and orange micro shimmers in it.  The shimmer really give the color a great pop.  It has great consistency, not to thick not to thin. This has excellent dry time like most Sally Hansen's.  It's a fairly opaque color after the first coat but a little streaky with the first coat.  So I add a second coat and that evens everything out. This is a really fun summer color that I enjoy wearing. If you are looking for a bright pink that has a little extra something I would recommend this color for you. Here are some pictures that I took:

I apologize for the crappy camera phone pictures:( That's all I have to work with right now so bear with me please.

As always I appreciate you stopping by and checking out my blog and I hope that you return.  Have a wonderful day and keep on a smile :)

Review Time for Perfectly Posh's Big Fat Yummy Hand Cream!

Here we go! Today I am going to tell you a little bit about Perfectly Posh. I was asked to review a few of their products by one of their independent consultants:  Tabbi Fritz.  This is a fairly new company and they don't have many reviews of their products so she wanted to get some opinions on the products to help her out when she's marketing these products.  Perfectly Posh was launched on October 1, 2011 from 4 personal Facebook pages and now they have independent consultants all over the U.S. There's more info on that here.   They are a U.S.A. made brand which is always worth checking out! "Perfectly Posh is a company that features Purely Pampering Products that you'll be proud to wear and share."

Now onto the good stuff!  First I will give you the information that the website and the brochure provide for you then I will share what I found.

"Take special care of your hands with our new, highly-portable hand formulation. Our BFY Hand Créme features apricot kernel oil. Known for it's gentle nature on skin, it contains high levels of vitamins A and E. It easily penetrates the driest skin without feeling greasy to care for busy, hard-working hands."
"Specially formulated for hands with vitamins A & E.  Portable in a big fat jar that is TSA friendly. Non-greasy pampering for your hands.  Paraben and paraffin free.  Pthalalate-free fragrance."

This is the kind I sampled.
3 fl oz Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme...$7 each

My 1 oz sample size!

I have been using the sample of this hand creme for about 3 days now (it's almost gone!).  First I will say that it is a very thick formula so you don't need very much at all to cover your hands.  To me this is a plus, because then it lasts a lot longer.  It goes on very nicely and is not greasy at all, I love this, because there is nothing worse than a greasy lotion.  My skin seems to soak it right up.  I even washed the dishes after putting it on and could still feel it on my skin after I was done.  This is a major bonus to me, as I am a stay at home mother of three and need products that last.  A lot of products I have tried in the past have stung or left little red blotches on my hands, Big Fat Yummy Hand Cream doesn't do this! That was a major plus to me.  As for the scent, it's a very light vanilla brown sugar smell, when I first started using my sinuses were plugged and I really couldn't smell it, but when they cleared up later I could smell this faint sent and it took me a little bit to realize what it was.  This is a very pleasant scent, it's not overbearing, it seems to me to be just right.  Not to strong and not too light.  I really enjoyed testing out this product and would highly recommend that anyone looking for a USA made brand check this out, because it is a wonderful hand creme.  I will definitely be looking into getting more. Click here>Perfectly Posh to check out their other products.  I will be reviewing a few others in the days to come so if this interested you please check back to see what else I have for you.

As always I hope you enjoyed my post and if you have any feedback for me feel free to do so!  I'd love to hear from you!  Have a wonderful day :)
