Darling Diva Polish Holiday Sneak Peak! Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra Ra and Triple Dog Dare, extra Unicorn Bath

Today I will be bringing you some of the beautiful creations from Darling Diva Polish.  You are going to get a sneak peak at 2 of polishes from the holiday collection and to wrap it up the very lovely Unicorn Bath (which of course is not part of her holiday collection, but a recent purchase of mine).  The 2 polishes that are from her holiday collection are inspired by the movie "A Christmas Story". First up is Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra Ra, this has a clear semi holographic shimmery base with red, green, gold, fuchsia, and white iridescent glitters. In varying sizes of squares and hexes.. I put on 2 thin coats of this super fun holiday polish over my own "My Kind of Nude".  I did not have any issues with this polish what so ever, no fishing for glitter, no dragging, no bare spots, nothing.  Dry time is great like all the rest of her wonderful polishes. So here it is:

Starting off with an up close of my thumb. Look at all the glitter and sparkle and shine! It's freaking fantastic. What more do you want for the holidays?

Here is a bottle shot and you can see even more of the wonderful glitter and sparkle here in this shot, the ones that don't show up so well on the nail stand out more here in the bottle shot.

Here it is in semi shade. Obviously still beautiful :)

Here is a sunshine thumb shot.

Here is the whole hand in the semi light. Look at all that glittery goodness! It's just gorgeous.

And last but not least with the bottle. I absolutely love this polish. It's loaded with glitter and sparkles and is super fun to look at. Definitely a holiday must have right here. Plus, it will go with just about anything you are wearing!

Next up I have for you another holiday sneak peak, this one is Triple Dog Dare.  Now this one has a not quite clear blue/purple  pearl base with large navy blue hex glitter, medium: royal purple, turquoise, and holographic hex glitters. This is super super pretty! I put it on alone, and built it up with 3 coats. If you wanted to you could put it on over something else, but I really wanted to see what it looked like alone. Again there were no issues with this polish, no curling glitter, no fishing for said glitter, no dragging, nothing. Great dry time again. So without holding this out any further, here it is:

Starting off again with an up close of my thumb nail.  Where you can see the beautiful glitter combo that was used, along with all the blue and purple goodness in the base.

Even better looking in the sun :)

The rest of the fingers in the sunlight. This is definitely a good one for a snowy white day, the colors will really stand out then.

Here it is in the semi shade, and it's still gorgeous. DDP just out does herself every time she creates new polishes. They are all exceptional!

OOOOHHHH! Look at that freaking amazing bottle shot!

And last but not least another of all the fingers with the bottle in the sun!  This is really a beautiful and fun color combination for the upcoming holidays.

Now last but definitely not least, I will be showing you Unicorn Bath, which is not part of the holiday collection, but is one that I recently decided needed to join my ever growing collection. And what better place than with some of it's fellow DDP's to show it off to you. Unicorn Bath ihas a light blue milky jelly base with gold and pink shimmer in it (in ways it reminds me of Sinful Colors Cinderella). This lovely polish is packed with blue, white, and silver hex glitters. I used 3 coats of this with no undie. I do suppose you could use an undie with this one if you wanted, I didn't, I wanted to see how it looked alone. And I love it alone honestly. I did not have any problems with this one either. And the dry time was great also. So without further chatter here is the gorgeousness I was telling you about:

Here is the up close thumb shot where you can see all that shimmery goodness in the base along with all those wonderful bold glitters.

Here it is again, in the sun, but a bit further away.

All the fingers in the semi shade.  If you are a fab of blue polish this is a need for your collection. There are so many things you could do with this polish.

Here it is in the sun to show off all that shimmer!

The bottle shot :)

Fingers and bottle shot. It's like definitely what I would thing a Unicorn Bath would look like :)

Review of a few lovelies from A England (St George, Avalon, Princess Tears, Tristam, Lady of the Lake)

Today I have a few different lovelies for you from A England: Saint George, Avalon, Princess Tears, Tristam, and Lady of the Lake. So to start out we will go with Saint George which is part of their Legends collection, according to their site is described as: Bearer of valiant and courageous heart, this fathomless teal reveals the strength of the brave knights convictions with his gleaming fiery core. I describe it as a deep dark teal holographic, plainly put: beautiful. Avalon is part of their Mythical collection, described by them as an incandescent regal and royal purple. I really have to agree with that, in my terms I would say it is a royal purple with red and purple shimmer, outstanding. Princess Tears is part of the Legends collection, described by them, as the twin lilac trails of tears stream with an incandescent glow down our doomed heroine's face, they are made even more poignant by luminous grey/green flashes.  I simply say it is a lovely lilac holographic polish, breath taking. Tristam is part of the Mythical collection, described by them as a night sky blue with starlight glimmer and glow.  I would say it's a lovely dark denim blue holographic color, freaking amazing. Lady of the Lake is part of the Mythical collection, described by them as a dusky purple with rainbow glimmer and glow. I say it's a deep purple holographic, fantastic. I absolutely was amazed by the colors and the quality of these A England products. They went on fabulously, I didn't have any problems with streaking or running. Dry time was great. and they lasted about 3 days before starting to chip for me, which is really quite good since I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and wash  my hands about a million times a day. So after all that who wants to see some pictures of these beauties!? Here they are:

This is one coat of every one. (Saint George, Avalon, Princess Tears, Tristam, & Lady of the Lake)

This is 2 coats of everyone.

And now for an upclose of each one:

This is Lady of the Lake (pinkie) 2 coats. Here you can see all the fantastic holographic sparkle. I just love this deep purple.

Here is Tristam (ring finger) 2 coats. The holographic sparkle in this one is just amazing too. It's such a deep blue that it almost looks purple in the pictures but it's definitely blue in person.

Princess Tears (middle finger) 2 coats. Again you can really see all the wonderful holographic sparkle going on. They definitely know how to make a wonderful holographic polish at A England.

Avalon (index finger) 2 coats. You can see the very royal purple here with the nice shimmer, and then towards the tip of the nail you can sort of see the hints of red. Love it!

Last but definitely not least by any means, Saint George (thumb) 2 coats. Very even sparkle over the whole nail. Just completely impressed with this brand and the color saturation.

The only downside is that they are based out of the U.K., other than that a-freaking-mazing.

Review of Violet Matte by The Nail Junkie

Here is Violet Matte by The Nail Junkie, I know she has some other wonderful colors out, but I do believe you can never have too many reviews of a beautiful color. This is a super shimmery matte violet. I'm sure some people think that a matte violet wouldn't be that great, but I'm here to tell you that this specific matte violet is freaking fantastic.  It went on very well, there was a bit of shaking required, but no big thing. Dry time was splendid. And the after effect is quite stunning. So instead of rambling on and on about it I'm just going to show you.

Close-up bottle shot.

Close up on the thumb, 2 thick coats.

Another thumb shot. Still only 2 thick coats.

Index 4 coats, middle 3 coats, ring 2 coats, and pinkie 1 coat.

And here they all are again with the super cute bottle. In my opinion 3 coats makes it just right.

Here are some places to find The Nail Junkie:

Enchanted Polish Review for Magic Mirror and Lucky in the Sky with Diamonds

Here I have some very lovely polishes from Enchanted Polish, Magic Mirror and Luck in the Sky with Diamonds, both are from her older collection, but still beautiful and in need of further showing off! Magic Mirror is a great lavender holographic that has larger irregularly shaped iridescent flakies in it to give it a little something extra. It goes on great and has wonderful dry time, no runs or drips. Now, Lucky in the Sky with Diamonds is a great champagne colored holographic polish.  This one went on great also, and dry time was wonderful. No dripping or running. So now to the best part, the pictures!

And a little different shot again.

Pointer Magic Mirror 2 thick coats, middle Lucky in the Sky with Diamonds 2 thick coats, ring Magic Mirror 1 thick coat, pinkie Lucky in the Sky with Diamonds 1 thick coat.

Review for Above the Curve Nail Polish Fight Like a Girl and I Pink I Can, I Pink I Can!

Today I am going to be showing you some wonderful Breast Cancer Awareness polishes made by Above The Curve Nail Polish: Fight Like a Girl and I Pink I Can, I Pink I Can!  Fight Like a Girl is a creamy light pink base loaded with different sized pink and raspberry hex glitter, and awesome red heart glitters. Application was a breeze with this one, there was some shaking to get the hearts but that's completely normal in my experience. Just so you know $1 from every bottle purchased was donated to Shriners Children's Hospital, which is also true for all their other polishes also. They are trying to get awareness around for Shriners Children's Hospital and scoliosis. Who doesn't want to help spread awareness and donate while also getting some awesome polish on top of it!?  Then we have I Pink I Can I Pink I Can which was created specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness and is a light fuchsia pink with tons of holographic goodness. Proceeds from the first bottle of this sold were donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and $2 from every other bottle sold are being donated as well. Above The Curve Nail Polish includes shipping in the price of each polish so you do not pay any additional shipping fees. The listed price of the polish is all you pay. So enough of the talk! Here are the gorgeous polishes:
Here is 2 coats of Fight Like a Girl over white.
You can see there are some micro glitters along with some small and medium sized glitters, and of course hearts!

This is 4 coats of Fight Like a Girl with no base color. I think I like it best like this. And it has great dry time so putting on 4 coats didn't take forever. :)

Here is Fight Like a Girl over a light pink, and to me it look too pink. But to some they may like it so here it is :)

Here are the fingers with the bottle, look at those labels! LOVE EM!

Here you can see I Pink I Can I Pink I Can on my ring finger. It's freaking gorgeous! I put a nice little ribbon over it :)

Here they are again with my Breast Cancer Awareness that says Fight Like a Girl that I got from my cousin who is currently fighting Breast Cancer.

And last but not least a picture of I Pink I Can I Pink I Can all by it's self! Look at that pink beauty.

Review Dandy Nails Look Around

I know it's been a bit hit and miss around here. I want to apologize and let you all know that I am still alive, I have just been working a ton of overtime at work, trying to get some debts paid off, and found that I can't blog from my phone. I tried I promise you, but for some reason once I add pictures to the posts I can't publish them from my cell phone, which was really depressing. Not to mention now I have like 12 different posts wrote up very nicely on blogger on my phone, but they don't show up on my regular blogspot page, ugh. But like I said I am here and I have some good stuff to share with you. Today I have for you Look Around from Dandy Nails.  Look Around is a grass green base with micro holographic glitters in it. Super pretty! But hey why not just show you!

Here's a bottle shot. The holo really freaked my camera out! But you can still tell it's a lovely color!

This is two coats.

Still two coats.

Index 4 coats, middle 3 coats, ring 2 coats, and pinkie 1 coat.

All fingers with another shot of the bottle. I really love this green, and it looks great after 2 coats, add a third just to be safe.

Review for BagBlaze.com

Today I have something a little different than what I usually write about for you.  Recently I came across a site called www.bagblaze.com were they carry some seriously awesome purses.  So today's post is on a purse from them.
To start I want to let you know that all their purses are $39.95 or less and they have Free shipping and returns (REALLY! Free shipping you can't beat that!).  They have everything from totes, shoulder bags, satchels, hobos, and clutches.
The one I got is the Grecia Hobo which according to their page is the perfect bag for the fashionista in need of ample space. Featuring double handle shoulder straps for added comfort and support, chiffon leaf accents and a deep main compartment for all your accessories and gadgets.  It comes in black, blue, brown, grey (which is what I'll be showing you), purple, and red. It is 18" x 11" x 4" with a drop length of 10". The market price on this is $87 but the www.bagblaze.com price is listed at $24.95.
They weren't lying this bag has a ton of room in it, I carry a lot of stuff in there, maybe some day I will brave it and show you just exactly what all I carry around, but not today, I don't want to scare you :), but the short version is 2 500 page library books, a notebook, some pens, business cards, about 50 keys, some perfume, a wallet, a coin purse, 2 cell phone chargers, 3 mini lotions bottles, some Tylenol, some ibuprofen, gloves, about 6 lip glosses and lip balms, and about 50 other things (don't judge on the amount of things in my purse LOL).   Plus, this purse is super cute!! Check it out:

Inside pocket with zipper and super cute lamb emblem!

The main compartment of the bag has a zipper, the zipper pull has a mini lamb emblem on it!

As you can see the inside zipper pocket is pretty large. And the inside of the purse is pink satin with lambs on it.

On the opposite side there are two pockets that hold all kinds of things. Cell phones, pens, keys, business cards, and whatever else you can think to put in there.

Here is the back of the purse, where you can see there is another pocket in the middle that has a zipper.  And here you can see that it's a really lovely grey.

This is a close-up of the lovely flower decoration that is on it. It has lovely lace, ribbon, and pearl dangles.

Here is the front view. You can see the super cute little leaf cute outs all over giving a really lovely decoration. And you can move the flower decoration wherever you want and there's also a pin on the back of it. I absolutely love this purse.
