Candii Polished's Enchanting for the Year!

So I contacted some indie makers and bloggers and friends to see if they wanted to help out and sponsor a giveaway to help celebrate my 1 year blogaversary and one of them was the lovely Brenda of Candii Polished. She offered to create a polish in honor of my achievement, how freaking awesome is that?! I expected her to maybe say yeah sure I'll send you something, but instead she's like how about I make a polish just for you! I was like OKAY! So she played around and came up with a stunning little number for me.  I have one for me which is shown here and I have one for a giveaway prize. And she was talking about possibly selling a few bottles, but I'm not for sure if she's going to do that or not, so you'll just have to keep an eye on her shop :) Anyway back to the important stuff! She had me name it and I wasn't feeling very artistic at the time so I came up with Enchanting for the Year:

Enchanting for the Year is a light periwinkle jelly base packed with blue and purple pearl tones, and tons of blue, purple, teal, and holo glitters in different sizes and shapes.

This is probably the most color accurate. And it is 3 coats with no undie.

On my thumb, index and pinkie fingers I have on 3 coats of Enchanting for the Year with no undies. On my middle finger I have 1 coat over Sinful Colors Tantalizing and on my ring finger I have 1 coat over Essie Lapis of Luxury.

It's so awesome to know that I've made it a whole year blogging and someone was willing to make a beautiful polish to help me celebrate!

I freaking love the color of it too!!!

If you are interested in tracking yourself down some Candii Polished items here are a couple places you can look:

I hope you all enjoyed this post and found yourself some new pretties you just have to have.  Please come back again soon to see what else I have in store for you.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

F4 Polish: Rockettes, Blue Jean Night, and Fruity Pebbles!

This review is of some lovely F4 Polish.  I have Rockettes, Blue Jean Night, and Fruity Pebbles for you. I love me some F4 Polish, they have some seriously awesome polishes!
I will start out with Rockettes, which they release around the holidays and may not be available any more:

Here is Rockettes, it has a creamy white jelly base packed full of multi colored shimmer and miro holos.

This is 3 coats with no undie. I didn't have any problems with this polish what so ever. It went on wonderfully and lasted me about 3 days.

And here is 2 coats of Rockettes over a white undie. I personally like it better without the undie, but that's just me :)

Next is Blue Jean Night:

Blue Jean Night is a creamy semi off white base packed with small irregular/flakie blue pieces. I love this polish! It's different, and blue, and fun!

I am wearing 3 coats of Blue Jean Night. I didn't have any problems with this polish, it went on wonderfully, and there was no streaking or anything like that.

Last but not least Fruity Pebbles:

Fruity Pebbles has a creamy white base with multi colored bright shredded glitters. (I believe this has been revamped to Fruity Pebbles Sprinkles which has mini hex glitters with the shredded glitter)

I have on 3 coats of this super awesome polish!

If you want to find F4 Polish here are a couple places you should look:
Facebook and their etsy shop.

I hope you enjoyed this post and found yourself some new pretties in the process. Please come back again soon to see what else I have in store for you. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

NaiLuv Professional Gel Polish Starter Kit Review!

Hey there everyone! So here is the review for the NaiLuv, which I got from the wonderful Lisa of It's A Glam Thing. Please check out both! Well here goes. This is the first Gel Polish I have tried. I have gone in and had shellac put on my nails once, and that's really what this reminds me of. So I that's the only thing I really have to compare this too, so bear with me :)

The kit comes with the 4W LED lamp, Bonder, Base/Top Coat, Gel Color Polish, Gel Polish Remover, Gel Application Cleanser, Orange Stick, File, and instructions.

There are quite a few steps to applying gel polish and most of them include curing after you apply a coat of this or that. Curing is 30-45 seconds with the 4W LED lamp.

You apply the bonder first and allow that to air dry for 30 seconds. Then you follow with a thin coat of the dual base/top coat which you cure for 30 seconds. Followed by your Gel shade which you cure for 45 seconds. If you are seeking a darker shade of the color you apply another coat of the Gel shade and repeat the curing until you get the look that you're going for.

The kit I received came with the Gel Shade Pucker Up, which is a very pale pastel pinkish peach color. I applied 3 coats to get the look that you see in the pictures here. It's a very nude color that would go great with pretty much anything you wear.

It was pretty simple to apply this and the instructions were great. Very step by step and helpful. When I was done with the last curing, I used the Gel application cleanser to take off a sticky layer that formed on the top from the curing process and after that as you can see my nails were super shiny!

This is a bit out of my normal color range, so I will see how long I can handle leaving on one color, and update the post from there. But I wanted to get this up so you all could see what this was, since this is a prize in my giveaway!

Thank you all for stopping by and checking out my post. I hope you enjoyed it and maybe even found something new you need to have! Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Model City Polish review: I Lilac What You Did There, Orange You Just Peachy, Anti Establish Mint, Pretty In Pink, You Blue Me Away, and Cookies and Milk!

Alright well I have some very beautiful polish spam reviews for you today, I hope you enjoy this (lots of pics). I will be showing you some very lovely polish from Model City Polish.
I will start with I Lilac What You Did There:

I Lilac What You Did There is a light lilac polish with a very subtle holographic shimmer in it. I have on 2 coats with no undie. They recommend 3 but I was happy with 2.

You do have to let this dry fully before trying to add another coat, it is a little tacky when drying and will pull the other coats if you don't let it dry completely. I did not have any issues with this polish though! I love it!!!

Next up is Orange You Just Peachy:

Orange You Just Peachy is a nice light orange/peach polish with subtle holographic shimmer. Very nice for spring.

Again I have on 2 coats and was very satisfied with the color, but it is recommended at 3 coats.  I did not have any problems with this polish, its just plain lovely!

Now up is Anti Establish Mint:

Anti Establish Mint is a very lovely light mint green with subtle holographic shimmer. It was difficult to get the color to show right in the pictures, but this is a very lovely color. The closest to the color is on the index finger in this picture.

Here I have on 2 coats of this wonderful color and like the others it is recommended at 3 coats. I was happy with it at 2 coats.

Here is Pretty In Pink:

Pretty In Pink is a very light pink with subtle holographic shimmer. it's a very lovely color that again was hard to capture properly on camera.

I have on 2 coats and was very happy with the result. It's also recommended to wear with 3 coats. This is a very pretty shade of light pink that will go with anything.

Next is You Blue Me Away:

You Blue Me Away is a very light blue with subtle holographic shimmer. It's a beautiful color!

I have on 2 coats of this one also, and again it is recommended at 3 coats, but it looks lovely with 2 and I was very happy with it.

Last but not least I have Cookies and Milk:

Cookies and Milk has a white crelly base and is packed with black and copper micro glitters and small black hex glitters. It's a very fun polish!

I have on 3 coats of this to get the finish I was going for. I didn't have any issues with any of these beautiful colors!

If you are interested in finding Model City Polish here are places to look:
Facebook and their etsy shop.

I hope you enjoyed these beauties and found some new pretty that you need. Come back again soon to see what else I have lined up for you.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)
