Holiday review for Amy's Nail Boutique's Gingerbread and Frosty

I know it's been a while since my last post and I apologize for that.  I was trying to get my house and everything ready for Christmas, which we did yesterday, so that's all done and over with! So now I will be trying to play catch up to get all the posts out that I want out :) Starting with this one here for Amy's Nail Boutique.  I will be showing you 2 lovely polishes from her holiday collection: Gingerbread and Frosty. So let's start off with some pictures of these beauties:

As you can see from the pictures above, Gingerbread has a clear base jam packed full of small red and gold flakies. I have on 2 coats of this polish.

This is 2 coats with no undies.

Here I have 2 coats of Gingerbread over 1 coat of Sally Hansen White On. I think it looks super pretty over white.

I didn't have any issues what so ever with this polish. There's no dripping, fishing, dragging, or clumping. It went on like a dream :)

And here are 2 coats of Gingerbread over 1 coat of China Glaze Immortal.  I really like this combination. And Gingerbread is definitely a polish that you can wear all year around.

And the bottle shot. Here you can see more of the gold tones in this polish.

I really enjoyed this color, of the two, I would have to say this is my favorite :)

Next is Frosty:

Here are 3 coats of Frosty with no undies.  This polish again has a clear base. Although, Frost is jam packed with what looks like silver shimmery goodness. It also has tiny holographic hexes, small light blue matte hexes, and medium white hexes.

Here is 1 coat of Frosty over 1 coat of Sally Hansen White On. This beautiful polish really does remind me of snow and building snowmen.

Here's 1 coat of Frosty over 1 coat of China Glaze Immortal. As you can see over this color polish, Frosty looks completely different. This is another wonderful polish that you could wear all year around.

Here is 1 coat of Frosty over China Glaze Peri-Wink-Le. Again showing the wonderful colors reminding us of snow and all that goes with it :)

And here they all are together :)

Here are some ways for you to find Amy's Nail Boutique:
Facebook or on her etsy shop.

I hope you enjoyed this post and come back again soon to see what else I have in store for you ;)  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Review of the DandyNails Winter Collection (Moonglow, Cashmere Night, Highest Ground, Bory-Alice, and Chilled Down)

This time around I have the whole DandyNails Winter Collection. This is a wonderful collection and I just figured since I had to have over half of them and I liked all of them, I might as well just go ahead and get them all! So to start this off I have Moonglow.

Here is Moonglow and all it's lovely scattered holo goodness! The base is a lovely charcoal grey. There isn't much to say about this beautiful polish, it says it all for itself.

The close up was a bit more difficult to capture, since the holo freaked out my camera.  I only have on one coat in these photos. This is such a great scattered holo! I love it and all these pictures are in regular household light, no sun the day I took the pictures!

I had absolutely no problems with this polish. No dragging, no dripping, just wonderful coverage from a wonderfully created polish! Dry time is great too :)

Next up is Cashmere Night.

Cashmere Night is a wonderful deep royal purple with blue micro glitters and tons of shimmers in red and blue.  This polish has a matte finish, and looks awesome that way. But if you add a clear coat it looks completely different, and looks great that way too!

I didn't have any problems with this polish. These pictures show it with only one coat. So obviously there is no dragging or bald spots like most matte polishes.

The bottle shot, here you can really see the pretty micro blue sparkles!

Here is Highest Ground.

As you can see Highest Ground is a beautiful light blue/turquoise frosted base, filled with multi colored micro glitters (silvers, blues, and teals from what I can tell).

In these pictures I am wearing 2 coats to achieve this look.  This is an extremely beautiful color and the sparkle is just amazing.

Here's the bottle shot with all it's wonderful glitters and shimmers!

Now I have Bory-Alice for you.

Here is Bory-Alice which is a dark duo-chrome, purple-teal. This polish is extremely pretty.  I do not have an undie on with this polish. This is it all by itself, one coat.

I did not have any application issues with this polish what so ever, that means no dragging (obviously because I'm only wearing one coat), there was no dripping, just wonderful application.

Here is the wonderful bottle shot, you can see the teal and purple here in the bottle shot! So pretty! Sandy of DandyNails really outdid herself with this wonderful Winter collection of hers!

Last but definitely not least and my personal favorite, Chilled Down.

Here is Chilled Down, it has a light grey milky base with tons of gold micro shimmer and irregular small blue glitter. I have on 2 coats of this wonderful color. I really love how these colors set each other off.

I didn't have any issues with this polish, no dripping, no dragging, and no fishing. This polish went on like a dream! I just love the colors so much :)

The bottle shot to show how packed full of beauty this polish is.

Here are some ways to find DandyNails:
Facebook and their etsy shop.

I hope that you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it for you, also that you come back again soon to see what else i have in store for you. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Glitz in a Bottle Review: Cotton Candy Summer, Fairytales Could Be Real, Slight Changes of Fall, Jack Frost, and I Love Christmas.

Alight today I am going to be showing you a few different lovely polishes from Glitz In A Bottle.  I have Cotton Candy Summer, Fairytales Could Be Real, Slight Changes of Fall, Jack Frost, and I Love Christmas.  I tried to get a good variety of different colors and seasons mixed in here for you.  I will start this off with Cotton Candy Summer:

Again this is Cotton Candy Summer. I have on 2 coats over Gosh Gold and China Glaze Elephant Walk.

Cotton Candy is a clear base packed full of white bar glitter and small pink and gold hex glitter.  I did not have any application issues with this polish. There was no fishing for glitter or anything like that, and no curling. It went on very nicely.

Here are 2 coats of Cotton Candy Summer alone. You can see that the glitter distribution is even and works out very nicely. Even with no undie it is a lovley polish.

Here are 2 coats over Gosh Gold. This base really makes the glitters pop and look more fun.

2 coats of Cotton Candy Summer over China Glaze Elephant Walk. Over this color you can get a better idea of true colors.  The pink is fairly dark and almost red. The gold is pretty pale and then there's the white.

This is a great summertime polish!

Fairytales Could Be Real:

Here is Fairytales Could Be Real in 2 coats over China Glaze Elephant Walk and Gosh Gold.

Here is the thumb shot to show you all the glitter that is packed in there. And so you can see that you can very nicely wear this polish alone or over another color.

Fairytales Could Be Real has a clear base and is full of small grey and light purple hexes, along with light purple and grey micro glitters, and lavender square glitters.

Here are 2 coats over China Glaze Elephant Walk. I really love the way the darker purple just adds that extra something, that makes it a great polish.

Here is Fairytales Could Be Real over Gosh Gold, This is my favorite combinations. The gold just really sets something off in this polish and makes it look brilliant!

Slight Changes of Fall:

I have 2 coats of Slight Changes of Fall on over China Glaze Elephant Walk and Gosh Gold.

Here it is so that you can see what it looks like alone. You could easily wear this alone, or over another polish.

Here is is over China Glaze Elephant Walk.  The orange in this polish really make it beautiful.

But I really love this one over Gosh Gold.  It just gives it that fall look and makes it all come together.  I didn't have any problems with this polish. I didn't have any problems with any of these polishes actually. They all went on very wonderfully.

From what I can tell Slight Changes of Fall has a clear base with large grey hexes, medium gold and orange hexes, tiny grey hexes, and micro iridescent glitters.

Now for the 2 holiday polishes that I got! First is Jack Frost.

I have 2 coats of Jack Frost alone on my index and pinkie fingers, 2 coats over Sally Hansen White On on my middle finger, and 2 coats over China Glaze Elephant Walk on my ring finger.

I really do prefer this one alone with nothing underneath of it. Here you can see that it has pretty good coverage after 2 coats, so you could easily skip the undie.

Jack Frost has a clear base with baby blue pearl finished medium hexes, tiny baby blue pearl finished hexes, and iridescent, blue, and green micro glitters.

Again I had no problems with this polish. It went on wonderfully.

Last but by far least I Love Christmas.

Here you can see all the varying sizes of glitters in this wonderful Christmas polish. Again I love this polish alone with no undie, but that's just me :)

I had no issues with this polish. The larger glitters seemed to some right out.

I Love Christmas has a clear base and is packed to the brim with white hearts, large red hexes, small red and green hexes, and red micro glitter.

Here are a couple places to find Glitz in a Bottle:
Facebook or on her etsy shop.

This polish is such a wonderful Christmas polish, I really love it alone and I love it just as much over Sally Hansen White On. But over the white then you can't see the super cute white hearts!

I hope you enjoyed this post and maybe found some new polishes you just have to have! Please come back again soon to see what else I have in store for you. And have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)
