Alright today I have a wonderful post for you on an Indie polish that I have had for quite a while, but was super lazy and didn't get my blog post up on it! So since I am organizing some really super things to come and this awesome brand might just be part of it, I thought HEY! get the review done dang it! :) So here we are! This review is for the wonderful Elixir Lacquers in Bad Kitty witch was a limited edition polish that I was lucky enough to get my hands on. Here is a little something from Elixir Lacquers website, their mission statement:
Our mission is simple: to provide the best products and service to our
customers at the lowest prices possible. We take great pride in our
company, our commitment to customer service and in the products we sell.
Our online store is designed to provide you with a safe and secure
environment to browse our product catalog.
Now to me it's nice to see things like this and since I have chatted with Nicole of Elixir I know this is true and they have excellent customer service, although I have never had a problem with any of their products, I was just inquiring about some things and she was very helpful and I really appreciated it.
Alright back to business here, I got Bad Kitty from them which is a fairly transparent polish, you can build it up in about 3 to 4 coats if you don't use an undie, but I find it easier and just as pretty to use one, for this review I used a plain white and 2 coats of Bad Kitty. This is a very pretty sort of duochrome. It changes subtly in different light from purple to blue/green. It's jam packed with shimmery goodness and has a frosted look to it. I am usually not a fan of the frosted polishes but I love the way this one looks. So without further ado here are some pictures for you!
This was taken in the shade and it looks very blueish purple here.
Now this was in the direct sunlight and here you even see a little bit of pink in with the purple and turquoise!
So pretty!
This is a close up bottle shot of the prettiness that is Bad Kitty.
Here is an up close of my nail showing the pinkiness and the turquoise shimmers. Such a lovely color!
And here is the lovely Bad Kitty with some various nail art that I did!
My first tuxedo mani! I added some glitter to it: Thumb is Lacquer Conventions Observatory, Pointer is Lacquer Convetions Pop Tart, and Ring is GlitterFest Water Wings!
This was my first mani using Bad Kitty and trying out Butterfly Wings nail art!
Here are the ways to find Elixir:
On Facebook
Their Shop
Here are how to find the others that I briefly mentioned: GlitterFest/etsy and GlitterFest/FB; LacquerConvention/etsy and LacquerConvention/FB
I hope you all enjoyed this post and come back again soon! Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)
